Every single person who is pursuing a goal (whether it be business, academic, fitness, or otherwise) is always going to have their fair share of critics in their every day life. Often times it will come from the people closest to you. Unfortunately the people that care about us are not perfect, and will often condemn the things you do when your aspirations force that person to confront shortcomings of their own. Take that into consideration when your underemployed friend criticizes your business venture or your 70 hour work week because you “can’t find time” to go out and get wasted with them on friday night; or when your overweight aunt tells you that this new diet and exercise “obsession” is unhealthy because of something she heard on [insert daytime talk show here].
When pursuing something in life, listen to the people that are where you aspire to be. Everyone else you should tell, kindly, to pipe the fuck down.

what if rocks are actually soft but just tense up when we touch them?
How stoned are you right now?
Was that a fucking pun?
My boyfriend has declared war on a garbage can
It’s on the college campus by his parents house. Every time he had to walk by that thing, which used to be often, BAM! Kicked it over. I’d remind him someone’s gotta clean that up, but his retort was nothing was ever in it, so no mess. And he’s right
I told him that now that he’s got his own place, the garbage can is winning the war
He is now determined to steal it and throw it off a bridge
Do men grow up?
